Dressed for Imbolc 2012

This beautiful painting was shared on Facebook recently, and the artist Annie B has kindly offered a couple of her prints for display in DreamTime House, look out for them there soon!

Early in the morning of Thursday January 5th the storm winds toppled the big old Holy Thorn tree just above the Vesica Piscis Pool in the lower gardens of Chalice Well. The trunk is completely snapped off at the base at ground level, so the tree is completely severed from its root system. This tree was the oldest and most splendid and well loved of the Chalice Well's Holy Thorn trees. On Monday the tree will be removed (but all the wood will be kept for ceremonial purposes.) If you would like to go to the Well to pay your respects or take a twiglet, or to thank the spirit of the tree please do so before next Monday. The Well is open from 10.00 till 4.00 with last admissions at 3.45pm.

Congratulations to 12 year old! Evie, who won the raffle for a one week stay at DreamTime House for the Luna Petagine appeal, which raised IRO £4000!  Many congratulations to the fund raising team, who have now raised £100,000 in total!  That's amazing!
